With this Restrict Fake Registration extension, you can set the maximum number of characters allowed for first, middle and last names. If a registration attempt exceeds these limits, the customer will be prevented from completing the registration process. You also have the option to write a custom error message that dynamically retrieves the name field and the allowed character limit.
Disallow the use of special characters in customer names. You can specify which characters to allow or restrict and write a custom error message accordingly. If you choose to allow the specified characters, all other special characters will automatically be restricted.
The extension allows you to prevent registrations from email domains and IP addresses known for fraudulent activity or unauthorized access attempts. Specify all the TLDs (Email ID domains) and IPs that you want to allow or restrict and show a custom error message if a user tries to register from one of the restricted domains or IPs. This ensures only legitimate users can register with trusted email domains and IP addresses.
You can maintain a log of restricted registration attempts in the database, file or both. Specific the number of days after which you want to clear the log. Additionally, choose the type of restriction for which you want to keep a log.
The extension provides a convenient grid view for tracking all fake registration attempts. Every attempt includes details such as the email, IP address, date, and the reason for failure.
