FMEs Magento Reservation and Booking Extension helps Hotel managers, Event’s organizers, Doctors, Therapists, Travel agents with this all-in-one online booking software. It can be used for any online bookable service or product. Now you do not need to worry about losing clients because there was no staff to schedule an appointment or book for a service. You do not need any person to operate this tool. Just experience its intuitive and easy to use backend interface to manage all your bookings.

How It Works:

Configure Bookable Products:

Magento Reservations extension creates a new tab “Booking & Reservation” for each product that you have created. Add a service which is bookable such as hotel room, car or apartment rental. Once you have added desired product or service, enable its booking from this tab. You can configure following in this section for bookable service or product;

• Timings for individual weekdays such as 24 hrs, 9 – 5, Closed etc.
• Set booking time slot e.g. if your hotel room is booked for 12 hours then enter 720 minutes, if you are a therapist and your minimum session is of 30 minutes then enter 30 minutes etc.
• Define buffer time period. It’s the time after any service has been performed for reasons such as if a person leaves a hotel after 12 hours you might need at least 30 minutes to clean up things before next booking. So you will say that 30 minutes is buffer time period needed for cleaning things up
• Set Booking Tier Prices which allows you to define tier pricing. For example if 12 hours for hotel room cost $800 then 24 hours will cost $1600 but you might want to offer little discount say $200, similarly for 36 hours you give $500 discount, you will enter following in this section for this example;

i)12 hours (in minutes) = $800

ii)24 hours (in minutes) = $1400

iii)36 hours (in minutes) = $1900



What happens next is that if somebody books your room for 6 days that is 72 hours the price will be calculated based on $1900 price tag.

• Set booking cancellation time
• Select the type of service e.g. if it can be performed at customers home such as therapies or it needs to be delivered in your office. You can setup pricing for home services from the configuration section

Magento Booking Calendar:

• For bookable products, customers will see a Booking Calendar from which they can select the date they wish to book any product or service. From admin panel of this Magento Booking Module you can completely customize calendar such as its size, font style and size, different color schemes for different events

Customers can select any staff member:

Magento Reservation and Booking plugin gives you a comprehensive Magento Reservation system where you can add your staff members with their profiles and timings so that customers can book your service with a person of their choice such as for massage, therapies etc;

• Supports Avatar for staff member
• You can select from this module which staff member is available for which bookable product or service.
• Configure availability for member.
• Review all the bookings against any member

Customers will be able to choose staff member who is available for that service.

Add Bookings from Backend:

• You have all the controls to book any service from backend such as hotel booking, car rental, doctor’s appointment etc.

Cron Job Supported:

• Automatically receive all the reservation information in your email without any trouble.

Booking Calendar:

From admin panel of Magento Reservation and Booking Extension you can completely customize calendar such as its size, font style and size, different color schemes for different events, make sure you follow these points;

• Use ‘px’ with width and height such as 300px Calendar width
• Enter values in hex for colors such as #223959, #FFFFFF etc.
• You can change time schedule settings by using same rules

Mobile Services:

If you want to configure any service a mobile, means it can be performed at home. You need to visit Product->Catalog from the Magento admin panel then open up that product. On the left side there is a Booking and Reservations tab, click on it and select “Mobile” form the Booking Type drop down.

Secondly visit the configuration of Magento Reservation and Booking Extension where you will find settings for Home Service (Mobile). You can enter appropriate charges per miles or Kms.

Managing Staff Member:

Magento Reservation and Booking Extension gives you a separate module where you can add your staff members with their profiles and timings so that customers can book your services with a person of their choice such as for massage, therapies etc;

• Upload Avatar for staff member
• You can select which staff member is available for which bookable product or service.
• Configure availability for member.
• Review all the bookings against any member

You can enable or disable this functionality from the configuration in staff member’s settings.

Manually Adding Bookings from Backend:

• You have all the controls to add any booking from backend such as hotel booking and reservation, doctor’s appointment in case the person comes right in office without prior booking online.

Manage Cron Job:

• Automatically receive all the bookings in your email without having to worry.
• Set Time and frequency for Cron job.
