Geely — one of the world's fastest-growing automotive brands — needed more than a showroom website for its Saudi Arabian market. Customers expected the same seamless, trust-inspiring experience they get walking into a dealership, replicated entirely online: explore models, book test drives, and complete purchases from anywhere in the Kingdom.

High-value automotive purchases require a frictionless, trust-building digital journey. Geely KSA needed a platform capable of showcasing their model range, handling flexible payment structures for large transactions, facilitating test drive bookings across multiple showroom locations, and keeping interested customers engaged even when a model is sold out.

FME Extensions delivered a complete Magento-based e-commerce solution, deploying three specialised extensions — Partial Payment, Store Locator, and Out of Stock Notification — alongside a purpose-built mobile application for Android, Apple, and Huawei platforms, creating a unified omnichannel experience across the Kingdom.

Flexible Car Purchasing

Customers can choose to pay the full vehicle price in one transaction, or secure their car with a deposit — splitting the cost across manageable payment stages without leaving the website.

Test Drive Booking

Customers browsing the Models page can instantly book a test drive by selecting their nearest Geely showroom. The Store Locator displays all locations with full address details and contact information.

Waitlist & Demand Capture

When a model is unavailable, customers can subscribe to receive an instant alert the moment stock becomes available — keeping demand warm and preventing lost leads for high-interest vehicles.

Mobile Application

Beyond the web store, FME developed the official MyGeely mobile application from the ground up — giving Saudi customers a dedicated native experience on every major platform. The app mirrors the full e-commerce capability of the website, optimised for mobile browsing, test drive bookings, order tracking, and after-sales service management.
